Will the president be able to choose a justice better than the Sup Court Justices chose a president?

What applies here is what I call the Principle of The Dead Dog In The Road, namely: A dead dog in the road could have done a better job than the last Court did. Ruled,my Aunt Fanny; they mangled the vote count, ignored manifest irregularities,and simply took the word of the party hack who was then the FL Sec.of State. And Boomer Wisdom, a gross misnomer, wouldn't know a Marxist if it jumped out of Fort Knox and bit him on the @ss. Even Fidel Castro isn't a Marxist.
