Debt Consolidation?

I have tried everything to control and consolidate my debt. Personal finance loans, switching credit card balances to low apr cards. I was out of work for about 5 months and now my debt/credit ratio is in the crapper. Now I cannot do anything. I tried a personal finance loan, signing up to switch cards, and no one will touch me. I have a good credit score, I never miss a payment and when you look at how much I dole out a month compared to what I would be paying on a loan, I would p LESS on a loan than I pay a month now. I got a ticket for running a stop sign about 15 days ago. I tried to pay it the next day and the clerk told me to call back after 10 days because it takes time for the ticket to go into their system. So i called back after ten days and there is still no record of it. She told me to keep calling back until the citation number is in their system so I can pay it, but I'm kind of hoping that through some sort of unbelievable luck I've slipped through some tiny crack and will not have to pay this ticket? So if there is a statue of limitations on a citation (which I don't think there is but I'm not sure) how long is it? Why would anyone want children to read a book containing such horrible stories of murder, , and perverse destruction? Don't bother quoting scriptures, because I know them. I use to have two black cats they were great .One was called bouncer he was the most loving cat ever he truly was so close to me.He was getting very old and i knew the tme was coming but he was still my baby .The other cat little bit of brite eyes was my husbands cat and they were only 2 years apart in age and she was not well either just age and old.The in one years time my husband died of cancer my cat died of old age my husbands cat had to be put to sleep as she got so sick.It was a 2005 nightmare .Pets are very very special and i truly missed them very much.They know when things are wrong with you they dont ever complain and they love to be held.Im never going to recover from all the loss of that year but i have some beautiful memories of my life with my husband the cats and there lives with us.We raised them both for 18 years.Now i have 2 new babies that truly keep me very busy.Yet there are days when i miss old bouncer chasin little bit around the house and then coming to me for our time of special resting and quiet.Sorry you dont have yours but bet you have loads of memories.They are loads of fun.A cat can most certainally give unconditional love

Perspective on Earth's rotation?

I know the Earth rotates pretty fast, around a thousand miles per hour at the equator if I remember correctly...but I just don't quite understand how that's possible. To me, if that were the case day would be changing to night and vice versa constantly. I don't understand how the Earth can be spinning like that while we can look up at a virtually still sky (sun, stars, moon). Does it have something to do with orbit? I think I need some kind of example to put this into perspective...I also don't understand how the spin is slower at the poles. Advice about my 12 week old please!!?

In the evening at about 7pm I bath and give my baby girl a bottle I try to settle her in her crib ( which is in our bedroom) but she is not happy until I take her downstairs where she falls asleep in her bouncer and then I take her upstairs when we are going to bed. This evening I really tried to settle her by shushing and calming her in the crib... eventually I had to take her downstairs and cuddle her due to crying and then put her in the comfy bouncer in the lounge with me where she settled and is now sleeping...advice please from other mums...is she too young to settle on her own in the room do I need to relax about it or should I continue to settle her in the crib..though its hard???

I rang and told them and she said it is a suitable job for me and if I wasn't going to take it, I was wasting their time. She forced and forced until I said I would take it. I told her I did not feel comfortable working there with machinery and was unable to do the job. In a condescending voice she said to me " I know darling". She did not care she just forced me to take it and did not listen to why I could not. I took it and lasted 3 weeks and the employer fired me and was not happy with me. I gave it my best shot but it was not for me. I later found out she got a bonus and the agency got paid big money for getting me the job.

We loaned our son our Car that we had bought off him and his wife. They had it for 2 years. I got tired of them telling us how bad off they were. But yet hearing about their camping trips, their New DVD movies. His 4 or 5 cases of beer, his kids new things. But yet then they got $5000 back on income tax. And paid $1000 for a generator they never have used yet, Then the kids got more new clothes, And I don't know what all. I finally told them either pay us back the $500 we paid for the Car since we have only had it 3 weeks since we bought it off you or buy yourself something so we can have our car back. So your dad has a way to work.So his wife got all pissy with me about us wanting our CAR back.So they spend $700 on a piece of junk truck. It is not even safe to be driven. So then his job laid him off and he had to go 70 mile from home to supposedly find a job. So yet again he had to have our car because it is not safe to drive his truck that far. But yet it is OK for his father to drive it back and forth 20 mile each way to his job. So then We got tired of the BS and traded off the Car and got a 1998 S10 truck. Had to let our son drive it. Well I found out his wife was keeping the truck and he was driving her truck to work. I said NO. If He is not driving it then We need it back. We are NOT paying $350 a month for your wife to drive it while we drive your piece of ****. So that next day our $8000 dollar truck Quit. So we made the car lot give us back our car and let the truck go back. Since I would not let his wife drive it she done something to it so the fuel pump went out. Then he was driving my truck and I again found out his wife was driving it So I took it Back. And then A Spark Plug Blew out of the Engine and a back tire had tred Cut off it. Lug Nuts were loosened on it. And then Our son borrowed his dads car for 2 days last week. I SAID RIGHT UP FRONT in front of his WIFE, and HIS SISTER IN LAW and all the KIDS. For your WORK ONLY. when your not at work PARK IT. And we got the car back Friday night and were driving it and low and behold 2 lug nuts fell off and 2 studs broke off the back tire. Just seems rather funny that after I catch her driving one of our Vehicles then something goes wrong with it. She tried to destroy my marriage by having her older sister have an affair with my husband. Now all the car trouble. With vehicles we have had the Car for 2 years and never done anything to it except Brakes,and a tension pully, And my truck has only ever had the brakes and a battery in a year now for these things to be going on.

I don't know about the worst, I have had some pretty screwed up ones too. There may be an explanation for this like does she have male friends that your dad knows about? and happened to be out with one? was she all nervous when she answered the phone when you rang back? was she in the ladies room, when you called the second time? and the male just decided to be nosey and answer someone elses phone? even if you do tell your dad she will by now have a reasonable explaination to answer your dad if he asks. they usually do. one of my stepmothers had some money to pay bills granted it was under a hundred bucks but, spent it on drugs, and when my dad asked why the bill wasn't paid after a second notice came in? she said oh, didn't I tell you about that? I lost the money that day when it fell out of my pocket. I got lucky though she gave me some money to hold for her and said under no cirstance was I to give it to her cuz it was for a big bill, she came several times to get the money but, she never got it from me and her bill got paid on time. . anyway the only thing you can do is wait for something else to happen, like if she is ever off her guard again. it may take a long time for you to notice any change, though because she will have stepped up her guard from now on. she may have told the male that he shouldn't have answered the phone for her. see for yourself how much more she goes out with the girls and how long she stays out with those girls, what does she look like when she comes back home? are her clothes in a mess or pretty much wrinkled like they have been in a pile on the floor somewhere? or does she fold her clothes neatly? to do investagative work is a lot of work in and of itself. keep your ears open and your eyes open is the best thing you can do. all of that other stuff I mentioned is best left to a pro in that kind of business. you could always go to a shows site called cheaters.com and see what thats all about. but, you probably need to be adult to do any of that. as you can see the options are not open for much at your age. you dad may already know some stuff. like he has his own suspicions. but, thats not your place to go ther if he wants to do something he would or will at some point. she could also make your life really bad if you did some or any of those things. anything I could think of is costly either way for you, either costing money you might not have, or if she finds out she could be a B with an itch if you get the drift toward you. and don't mention it to her... like who was that that answered your phone the other night? you wouldn't get a straight answer. just know this they all fall hard when they do. she will trip up at some point and I hope you get to see it. that is really ashamed that your dad and you have to endure that stuff. but don't do anything to let on you have those suspicions. be just as always and as slick as she thinks she is. she might be making some secret phone calls, maybe not. as you see there are very many types of things to think about. here is a scene to play in your head. you tell your dad he reacts by confronting the stepthing, and she denies, denies,denies. she makes up some excuse as to why the male answered the phone, or who he is, and what he was doing answering her phone in the first place. the fight of words ensues, your dad is hurt in his heart, the step is thinking of ways to get revenge. but, if you let nature take her course then you will see the whole thing play out. how do I know all this stuff? you may ask. I cant get over "hating" my SIL and my hubby says it's redic because I know how she is and shell never change?

I've bee with my husband since high school; we've been married less then a year but have been together for almost 6.5 years. I obviously know his family very well ect. Yet his SIL still shocks me with her stupidity. When she was 3-4 she was diagnosed with a "comprehension" problem. Basically it means that it takes her longer to learn/understand things that other people would get on a first/second try. This is something that had my MIL given the proper attention to she could have easily over come. Maybe she would have always not been totally on the ball 100% of the time; but she certainly wouldnt have had her mom make excuses for her her whole life. My MIL is the type of person that nothing could ever be wrong or different about her kids. So she never addressed the problem however anytime my SIL does anything redic (which is all the time0 she uses her "disability" as an excuse. My SIL has a 3 1/2 year old and is about to have a second. She is just so frustrating to even think about. SHe makes up redic lies for NO reason about "nothing". I can't take it anymore. I know it is how she is and how she was raised but I dont understand how a 26 year old woman with almost 2 kids can not have to be held accountable for the things she says/does. I just cant help it. And it's not like this has no affect on my life. She has been borrowing my hubby's car for 2 weeks now becuase hers was mysteriously crashed into in her front yard. I end up watching her monster child becuase she's "tired" and my MIL just shows up with him and I cant really be like get out and take him; when I am a SAHM. What can i do. And NO i am not moving.

First of all, I would say try going to a therapist and see if they can't help you talk about your problems any (don't take medication unless you really want to). Next, maybe you should try by taking small steps each day to do what you enjoy. When your brain is fried from homework, try taking a walk. If you're bored with an ignment or have time in between, try writing down some ideas for a book or sketching some characters. Maybe you could try D&D with your friends if theyre into that kind of thing? You need to know a bit about the game to DM, but it can be pretty fun to create your own characters and adventures. The books are expensive and it takes awhile to make characters but you can download the 3.5 version books on torrent.

I'd start out Undecided. (or "General Studies" ) Then, during your first year, take some courses in both, and whatever else comes to mind. Then if you're pionate about Journalism, or Communications, or English, then major in one of those subjects. You may even be suprised to find you're interested in something completely different. So i dated this huy a year ago for a couple months. We have recently started hanging out again after not talking for almost a year. He really seemed to like me A LOT the 1st time around. I would recommend actually meeting with the schools admission department for the school that you are interested in. That way they can tell you what they look for and their requirements. Then you will even get the opportunity to share your story in person of why your high school grades were poor and they can give you recommendations on what you need to do to get into their school. Also, some state schools work with state jr. colleges. For example, I went to a large state school that had a program with the state jr college in which students proved themselves by getting accepted to the state school with the exception that they would complete 1-2 years at the jr college keeping their grades up. It was a way for students who didn't make the grades to basically get a second chance. Also, if your state school doesn't have this you can always go to a state ran jr college on your own. If you can prove that you can succeed in these schools it will look great on your application and will make it easier for you to get into the school you want.

Ever since I was 10 years old I've wanted to be a photographer. I was prepared to face the challenges of the industry, so I decided to major in photo. I don't know if my defrosted milk is bad?

My baby was born Oct 5th and I froze a ton of milk. I have a deep freezer so I figured at least 6 months the milk should be good for. I defrosted milk that is about 4-5 months old and I do not know if it's sour. I noticed the baby was refusing it and I thought maby it was sour or maybe she was just being fussy. it smells fine I tasted it and it does taste a little bit different then the defrosted milk from 2 weeks ago. it kind of tastes a little bit like it has soap in it.I do not want to dump it all if it is not sour maybe it is supposed to taste like that. HELP with compression and choosing the right bird?

I ha the same expectations when I got Pico, my Quaker. I only spent $150 on him from a breeder, but he's a Green, not a Blue or another rare color. He is medium sized, learning to be a good talker, but he can be quite loud. I just have figured out ways to get him to stop. He's happy most of the time, and he is SO much fun. I know Darwin believed in evolution and incipient species,etc and it really got me to thinking: There must have been a time when humans had some form of tail because every now and then a baby is born with a tail. If there was some transitional species, and I know that we don't have fossils of every creature to ever exist, why don't we see the same "genetic throwbacks" to the transitional form? For example, why don't we ever see a short necked giraffe, a lizard with feathers, a bird with scales, etc? It seems to me that somewhere the genes will pop up again. If we never had tails, facial hair, etc then why do we get the occasional fluke?

How do I change the battery in my Swatch diver's watch?

I bought a (pardon the pun) secondhand Swatch diver's watch fairly recently. Therefore there are no instructions as to how to change the battery, which is plainly dead or missing. But I dont know how to replace it. On the back there is a small circular cover with 3 tiny locking lugs on, and this just screws off. However this reveals nothing but what seems to be a plain layer of rubber with no obvious way to get it off. I think the battery may belong under this, but I dont know what to do next. Pull the rubber layer off? Has anyone else encountered this -it would be a shame to do something wrong and ruin the whole thing. Thanks.

Ok, I am the responsible one in my family. I am 21 years old, going to college and I also have a job at college. I take out the trash all the time, take care of the family dog, etc. I am the exact opposite of my 27 year old bro who's been living here, doesn't have a job or anything, smokes (which I have never done), he's drank before (admittedly, not a lot but I NEVER have), he's got all these issues with relationships and stuff. Anyway, he doesn't do chores except a couple of times dealing with the snow. Anyway, my dad brings to subway sandwiches home because I have been asking him for it. Anyway my brother merrily comes along and just takes the other. This, after I did the dishes. Note, I barely ever use our dishes yet I did them today because NO ONE else in the house would bother to lift a finger to do them and I took out the trash too. I have also checked it by lowering the air pressure one by one till 27 PSI. Even I tried nitrogen instead of air .Also I have dumped 180kg weight at the rear side to avoid wobbling since most of the time I travel alone. You don't need to remove the faucet unless you are replacing it, It has to be there when you put the backer board up, so does the shower riser and drop ear elbow. The only things you should remove are the shower arm where it threads into the drop ear elbow and the faucet handle(s) and escutcheon plate(s) You really don't need the water off to do this except when removing the old tile and board. Green board was fine as a shower backer it is likely you have a leak back there somewhere that caused the problem so look carefully before you put the backer board back up or you could be in the same boat again soon. It could be in the shower riser so look over that carefully. GL

I think one of the biggest ones is that every day a new denomination in Christianity pops up claiming to be the "true" religion and starts denouncing all others as false or going on the wrong path to righteousness. I mean, it's okay if you have your beliefs (or if you don't have beliefs in some cases), but why go to such extremes as to bash another's just to promote your belief or lack of belief? I don't think that's very Christian-like or even morally right. And this is coming from an atheist. :-) What say you, fellow christians and non-christians?

Kids are beautiful and innocent and I love them but as of right now I have no time for them. I'm 15 and I'm really ambitious and it seems to my parents view that I have no patience or affection towards my little sister who is 3. Is my dog worth keeping now?

We have a yellow lab who is 9 yrs old. He is a very funloving trusting and kind dog but a little monster sometimes. He acts like he is a puppy still and to this day we have still not been able to train him to not bark when ppl ring the doorbell and also to back off when ppl come over. I have a 2 year old lil girl and Im pregnant with another. Last Sunday we went to see Harry Potter and had a babysitter for Cordy. The woman told me she will deal with the dog if need be since i offered to put him in his crate since he was a lil over the top excited. When we came back the dog was cowering. She told me the dog was stepping out line and she "dealt with it" and gave him a good whack. I didnt question it at first because of all the commotion of being back home and a 2 year old is ecstatic to see me. I asked the sitter about it before she left and she said she took her fist and plowed him a good one. I dont know where, I dont know how many times. My lil girl told me also that the sitter hit our dog and our dog cried, when I ask her if she hit him lots she says yes but im not entirely sure she understands. Since then the dog has been agressive towards me and my 2 yr old. He isnt like this at all. If we walk by him he growls. On Tuesday the dog snapped at my wrist when i told him to go to his crate after letting him back inside and he snarled at my 2 year old baring his teeth. I dont want a dangerous dog in my house and I dont know if there is anything I can do to get him back to the way he was. I am pissed this woman did this and there is nothing I can do about it. Reporting her without proof is a waste of time. I dont want her back as a sitter or at all for that fact but now im stuck with this dog that sits in his crate all day refusing to come out who growls when we are a few feet from him. He is fine with my hubby and doesnt growl at him so hubby thought maybe the dog is afraid of females.... Should I try and get this dog help or is it just safer to find a friend to take him or list him in the newspaper. I honestly dont have the time now to retrain the dog and I have no clue what I am doing either.

It all has to do with genetics, which are never predictable. In Brandon Lee's case, he must have gotten his mother's genes in terms of skin color and such. The Gosselin children all got Jon's Korean skin. I'm not positive about this, but I've always thought that ethnicities with darker skin tones were usually ped down to the offspring. So if an African and a Caucasian had a baby, the baby would most likely be black. I think the same rule goes with Asian.

Why am I bleeding during /? This has never happened to me, why is it now?

Last night I had with a new partner and I bled during, as well as after . He is much larger than the the men I'm usually with by almost 2 inches. I have been ually active for the last 10 years and bleeding during has never happened to me. The blood was bright red in color so I stopped, cleaned up, and went at it again. The bleeding had appeared to have stopped and I wasn't in pain, so I didn't worry and continued having for another hour or so. Then I got worried this morning because there is still some blood in my l discharge. The discharge is normal, doesn't smell, doesn't burn, doesn't itch. Just regular discharge that I always have, not much. Just has some pinkish blood in it today. Still no pain. I am not due for my period for two more weeks, we used condoms, I am not on birth control, and if it makes a difference I had a failed pregnancy last august at 17 weeks. Also I was not using lubricant because I don't need it, I am never dry. I am in my mid 20's so it's not a menopause problem. I was checked last summer for STD's and was clean. I haven't been tested this year, but have participated in safe only so it's not really a possibility that I have an STD. I was definitely in the mood, mentally and physically.
